Jacob Christopher Camp

Jacob Christopher Camp, 30, of Benton, Tennessee previously of Middletown, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Benton. Jacob was born on June 28, 1992, in Shawnee Oklahoma to Michael Eugene Camp and Mechel Andring-Camp. Jacob was a 2010 graduate of Middletown Highschool.

Jacob’s favorite hobby was cooking for his friends and family. He was pursuing his dream of opening up a restaurant and food truck named Midnight Burger, and had just recently received his LLC for the company. He had a passion for culinary arts attending York Technical Institute for culinary arts and was also a proud member of the Boy Scouts. While working towards his dream, Jacob was a stay-at-home dad of six kids, and was engaged to the love of his life, Brittany Lynn Rider.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Bert Baker and Betty JoAnn Baker of Shawnee, OK and Monica Adelman of Middletown, PA; great aunt, Bubba of Middletown, PA; and his uncle, Vernon Ream of Benton, TN.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his fiancé, Brittany Lynn; his adoring children, Payton May, Wyatt Oliver, Orrin Boe, Zoey Evelyn, Arabella Zofia, and Thaleia Ixora; parents, Michael Eugene Camp and Mechel Andring-Camp; siblings, Michael Anthony Camp, Chelsey Nichole Camp, and Skyler James Camp; his lover of 20 years, Nyles Rife; second dad, Jim Rife; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of life Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor Darrell Grady officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm prior to the service.
