Jack Baldwin Kibler

March 24, 1944 — January 14, 2019

Jack Baldwin Kibler, Jr., age 74, was born to this earth on March 24, 1944 to his loving parents, Jack Baldwin Kibler, Sr. and Frances Rymer Kibler and older brother, Jimmy Rymer Kibler. Jack was born into eternity on January 14, 2019. He passed away after a lengthy illness at his home with his daughter, Lori Lynn Stafford at his side. Jack lived in Cleveland, Tennessee, most of his life, moving to Georgetown, Tennessee after purchasing a farm there in the 1990’s. He built a house on the Hiwassee River in the early 1970’s, where he lived for approximately thirty years and enjoyed fishing, boating and riding his Sea Doo jet ski with family and friends.
He is survived by one daughter, Lori Lynn Stafford and her husband, Greg Stafford (son Bryan, wife Georgie and their children); one brother, Jimmy Rymer Kibler (wife Janet); and several nephews and cousins and their families.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack Baldwin Kibler, Sr. and mother, Frances Rymer Kibler. Jack was the founder and owner of JBK Enterprises, Inc. which makes parts and equipment for asphalt plants all over the Continental United States and Canada. JBK Enterprises, Inc. was the successful result of Jack’s many years in drafting, business experience and hard, dedicated work. Jack not only oversaw the employees and work at his plant in Georgetown, Tennessee, but traveled extensively throughout to meet the needs of his many customers.
Companion Funeral & Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at the Tasso Christian Church on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm, with the funeral service at the church on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11 am. Burial to follow at the Tasso Memorial United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Kibler, Stacey Rymer, Dallas Stuman, Larry Johnston, Tim Book and Robbie McKamey. Honorary Pallbearers are Nancy Alloway, Ernest Adams, Charlie Brewer and Jack Teas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tasso Christian Church, 1135 Tasso Road, Cleveland, Tennessee, 37312 or to JBK Enterprises, Inc., P.O. Box 369, Georgetown, Tennessee, 37336 noted In Memory of Jack Baldwin Kibler, Jr. Scholarship. These funds will be used for a scholarship to a deserving Bradley Central High School Senior who wishes to pursue a career in the field of mechanical engineering.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to those who cared for Jack in his last days, showing him enormous patience, love and attention. Some would say, “It was our job,” but not all do their jobs as well and as graciously as they did. We are forever indebted to them.
