Jack Arnold Wilson, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 14, 2022. He was born in Cleveland, TN on March 22, 1939 to the late Annie Ruth Steele and Clyde Mikel. He was the owner and operator of Jack’s Small Engine Repair, for 41 years. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, where he served in Vietnam, Dominican Republic, and Santo Domingo. While in the Army he was attached to the 82nd Airborne Division. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman’s badge, Vietnam Service Medal (2 campaigns), Purple Heart, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, 3 O/S Bars, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Dominican Republic), Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/palm, Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal. He retired from the United States Army in 1979, after serving 23 years.

In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert Willson and Annie Willson and brother Johnny Steele.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years Kim Wilson; children: Connie White (Frank), Jackie Vazquez (Alberto), Jack A. Wilson Jr., Brandy Spraker (Jason), Kerry Horner (Joe), Angela Casey Wilson (Chris Miller), and Cadence Wilson; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends from 530pm until 730pm at Companion Funeral Home on Friday June 17th with a graveside service to follow at the Veterans Section of Fort Hill Cemetery.
