Jacaquline Gayle Harden

Jacaquline Gayle Harden, 70, of Georgetown, TN passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born on February 10, 1951, to the late Ruby and George Bidwell. Jackie was a resident of this area and a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. She worked for 30 years collectively between Parkridge and Valley Hospitals in Chattanooga. She enjoyed going to the beach, attending jewelry shows, and her favorite meal was a nice steak dinner. Above all, Jackie loved spending time with her family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Dawson; nephew, Buddy Dawson II; niece, Robin Massey; and mother and father-in-law, Frances and Hutie Harden.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 36 years, Lamar Harden; sons: Shawn (Teri) Johnson, Shannon (Pam) Harden, Greg (Ann) Harden, Tracey (Tonya) Harden, and Brent (Monica) Harden; sister, Arlene (Buddy) Rogers; brothers-in-law John (Tammy) Harden and Mitch (Darlene) Harden; sister-in-law, Trudy (James) Brown. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She also left behind friends: Beverly Lawhorn and Martha Johnson.

Jackie’s family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 11am on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the funeral home with a visitation prior from 10am until the service time. She will be laid to rest at Stanfield Cemetery.
