Hugh Don Smith

Hugh “Papa Don” Smith, 80, longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on February 23, 2019 at his home in Cleveland, TN. Hugh was born to William and Ruth Smith in Ducktown, TN on August 13, 1938. Hugh served his country in the U.S Army. He then worked as a truck driver for Superior Carriers. He was an avid church goer and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mamie “Leona” Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving family who loved and cared for him.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5 PM to 7PM with a celebration of life service to follow at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
