Hubert Reece Watson

Hubert Reece Watson, 66, a resident of Englewood, TN passed away at his home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. He was the son of the late Hubert & Willie Blankenship Watson. Reece is also preceded in death by his sister Cynthia “Cindy” Curry and an infant sister, Jeraldine Watson and step daughter Aaron Shipley and granddaughter Alexis Winsted.
Reece leaves behind to cherish his memory his love of many years, Vallerie Haney, daughter Marquita Banks and husband Shelby, son Daniel Reece Watson and wife Patti, step daughters Andrea Roderick, Shaun Farrell, Heather Elmore and Lara Winsted, six grandchildren Skylen Shipley, Chad Ramsey, Devin Ramsey, Chandler Case, Hunter Watson and Natalee Danielle Watson, fifteen step grandchildren, four great grandchildren Greyson Ramsey, Harley Ramsey, Damien Baker and Brantley Burger, five sisters and three brothers in law, Maxine and Marion Patton of Ten Mile, Mary Lou Carter of Sweetwater, Kathleen and Jimmy Cole of Englewood, Carolyn Scoggins of Etowah, and Barbara & Kent Wilson of Athens; one brother, Gary Watson of Etowah; several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga Nurse Charlie Lee for the wonderful care he provided Reece and his family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga in Reece’s memory.
The family will have a graveside service on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah with the Reverend Jeffrey Haney officiating. Brian Morrison, Jace Farrell, Chad Ramsey, Greg Kilpatrick, Cameron Elmore and Cristian Baker will serve as pallbearers.
