Obituary

Howard Marion Banther, 74, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 8, 2015. He was born on October 5, 1941 to the late Howard Taft and Velma Shelton Banther. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Honestville Baptist Church. Howard was a Veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Banther; sister in law Faye Banther; and brother in law Allen Evans.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons: Joseph Leon Banther and Marty McNabb (Michelle); sisters Hazel Evans and Beatrice McDaniel; brothers Paul Banther (Gail), Price Banther, and Steve Richardson (Katie); granddaughter Mia and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday October 11, 2015 and from 1:00PM to 2:00PM on Monday October 12, 2015 at Honestville Baptist Church located at 8526 Ooltewah Harrison Road, Ooltewah, TN. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 12, 2015 at 2:00PM with Pastor Greg Banther and Pastor Jeff Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
