Herbert Leeroy Sise

Herbert Leeroy Sise, 79, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Herbert was a Conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad where he retired after 33 years, he also worked part time for Bradley County Sheriff’s department for more than 20 years. Herbert was a baseball/softball coach for both the Harrison and Snowhill recreation leagues. He loved traveling the country, spending time with his family, and his special K9 companion, Frankie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Sise and Juanita Williams Sise; brother, James A Sise; wife, Peggy Zirk; step-great grandson, Ethane Haney.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Cynthia Womac Sise; children, Angela Sise, Tamela Sanders-Line (Stephen), Stephanie Sise, Aaron Sise (Amy); step-sons, Clifford and Adam Haney; grandchildren, Secret, James, Trent, Alyssa, Alayna, Asher; step grandchildren, Devon, Hayden, Noland, Lilly; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Burnette, Lela Settlemyer, and Randall D Sise, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10:30am to 1:30pm at New Fellowship Baptist Church in Charleston, TN. There will be a celebration of life service at 1:30pm also at the Church. The burial will be immediately following at Sequatchie Valley Gardens in Jasper, TN. Rev. Steve Davis will be officiating the service.
