Henry Spencer Melton

Henry Spencer Melton, 86, of Etowah, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Henry was born in Polk County, Tennessee on February 10, 1936 to the late George and Mattie Melton.

Along with his parents Henry was preceded in death his brother, Dwight Melton; brother-in-law, Parnick Stewart; and his sister, Allene Melton Stewart.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Jessie Melton; his son, Timothy Melton; brothers, James (Patricia) Melton, Hoyt (Shirley) Melton, and Jerry (Carlotta) Melton; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor Ray Ingram officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm prior to the service.
