Henry Roger Witt

Henry Roger Witt, 76, passed away on January 24, 2019 at his home in Ocoee, TN, surrounded by his family. Henry loved his church and helping with mission work. He loved being around his family. He also loved to hunt and fish whenever he got the chance.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Beverly Runion Witt; son Dale Stone; brothers, Henegar Witt and Troy Witt; sister Lisa Carrol Witt Dalton.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Margaret Dixon Witt; sons, Roger Witt (Crystal) and Heath Stone (Melissa); daughter Dana Witt Thurman (Terry); niece Ashley Witt; brothers, Gerald Witt (Sue), Danny Witt (Thelma), Richard Witt, Sherrill Witt; sisters Bernice Moore (Bill) and Nancy Slaton; grandchildren Cameron Witt, Austin Stone, Shane Long, Cheyenne Long, Marissa Stone and four great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Galilee Baptist Church located at 665 Old Chattanooga Pike SW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 5:00pm at the Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Witt, Austin Stone, Shane Long, Leland Thurman and Hunter Thurman.
