Hazel "Jeanette" Allen

Obituary
Hazel "Jeanette" Allen, 76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior while at a local health care facility on June 10, 2015.

A longtime resident of Cleveland, Jeanette was born July 4, 1938, to the late of Roy A. Pat and Mary A. Hall Garner. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Allen, Sr., granddaughter, Lacey Allen, sisters Crystal Burns, Judy Belcher, Frances Leonard and brothers, Roy Garner and Cedric Hall.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 children; Darlene (Michael) Clonts, Jaylene Allen, Gail (Donald) Thomas, David (Yolanda) Allen, Jr., Anita (Dennis) Morgan, DeWayne (Ginger) Allen, all of Cleveland and Tammy (Mark) Belliveau of Knoxville; 12 grandchildren; Misti (Joe) Renner, Jeremy Morgan, Donnie (Amy) Volsch, Heath (Jill) Allen, Wendi (Matt) Carroll, Jared (Carissa) Allen, Lucas (Kalee) Allen, Jennifer (Johnathan) Martin, Laurel Allen, Ryan Wagner, David Kaldenberg and Brenee Wagner; 10 great grandchildren; loving sister, Helen Simpson, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday night, June 12, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Reverend Floyd Boggess and Reverend Kenneth Gardner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. service time.

The family will meet at 11:30 Saturday morning at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church for the interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Allens memory to Eastview Baptist Church, No Pone Road Georgetown TN.
