Obituary
Harvey “Hugh” Triplett, 88, passed away early Thursday morning, August 21, 2014, at Bradley Healthcare.
He was the son of the late James W. Triplett and Lela Allen Triplett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Hickman Triplett, and son-in-law, Charles “Eddy” Alford.
He is survived by two daughters, Harvalene “Harvie” Alford and Gloria Hayes (Jimmy), both of Cleveland, TN. Four grandchildren, Libby Lee (Curtis) of Benton, Farrah Parker (Andy) of Ooltewah, Shane Hayes (Angela) and Tyson Hayes, both of Cleveland. Three great-grandchildren, Jordan Hayes, Ty Parker, and Dawson Lee.
He was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He also pastored several other local churches.
A graveside service is planned for 2:00 PM Sunday, August 24th, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, located at 7180 N Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN, with Robert Rominger officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Shane Hayes, Tyson Hayes, Andy Parker, Curtis Lee, Marvin Hickman, and Daniel Beaty.
A very special thank you to the staff at Bradley Healthcare. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Gideon International.
