Harry Cary Gregory

Harry Cary Gregory, 79, of Englewood, Tennessee passed away at home on Monday, December 12, 2022 after a lengthy illness. He was born February 20, 1943 to the late George Harry Gregory and Delzie Mae Williams of Athens, Tennessee.

Along with his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his son, Scott Cary Gregory; sisters, Wanda Vaughn, Eddie Jo Howard, Gloria Owens, and Retta Howard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Shirley Ann Malone Gregory; son, Steven Dwight (Becky) Gregory of Cullman, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Patty Gregory of Athens, Tennessee; grandsons, Matthew Gregory and Austin Gregory of Athens, Tennessee, Jesse Gregory of Cullman, Alabama; great granddaughters, Briley Reese Gregory, River Jean Gregory, and Ivie Parker, all of Cullman, Alabama; sisters, Susie Kay Watson of Englewood, Tennessee, Nancy Ferrell of Etowah, Tennessee; brothers, George (Ruth) Gary Gregory and Richard (Debbie) Gregory of Athens, Tennessee, Tommy (Gerri) Gregory of Gladwin, Michigan; along with several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gregory’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to Debbie, Jeremy, and Erin from Amedisys Hospice.

There will be no formal services held per Mr. Gregory’s wishes.
