Harold Ellis Maskew

Harold Ellis “Hal” Maskew, 74, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 13, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1949 to the late Ellis and Desseree Maskew. Hal was a electrical engineer by trade. He enjoyed boating, fishing’s riding motorcycles, and was a private pilot. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his sister Julia Maskew Robinson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 49 years, Joanne Maskew; six children: Carl Ferrer (Sherrie), Greg Ferrer (Lynnette), Carl “C.A.” Maskew (Karen), Theresa Shadrix (Mickey), Todd Ferrer (Ginnie), and Eddie Maskew (April). He leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way. 

A celebration of Hal’s life will be held at 11 AM on Monday May 22, 2023 at Westwood Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Smartt and Pastor Paul Davis officiating. The family will also receive friends from 10-11 AM before the service.
