Grover "Bill" Wooten

Grover “Bill” Wooten, 69, of McDonald, TN passed away on November 27, 2020. Bill was born on January 25, 1951 to the late Mary and Burnam Wooten. He was a kind, loving, Christian man who enjoyed playing instruments and singing. He was dedicated to volunteering his time at the Samaritan Center in Ooltewah,TN. He will be very missed by anyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Wooten; three brothers, Alfred, Tommy, and Dewey; and one sister, Millie Voiles.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memories, his sons William and Buddy Wooten; daughters, Darlene Wooten and Sherrel Mingie; two siblings, Polly Wiley and Charles Wooten; his ex-wife and caregiver, Wanda Brown; grandchildren and caregiver Amanda Paige, Ashley Boles, Amber Gilreath, Taylor Gilreath, Teddy Gilreath Jr., Brittany Wooten, Isaac Wooten, Courtney Wooten, and Devin Wooten; great-grandchildren Nia Gaskill, Harper Boles, Lacy Boles, Trystan Parker, Payton Hewitt, Cassidy Hewitt, Angel Gilreath, DJ Gilreath, Rowan Gilreath, Alexander Mitchell, and Kabe Mitchell.

The family will be having a visitation on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Companion Funeral Home’s Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will follow at 7:00PM.
