Gloria Jean Mcminn

Gloria Jean McMinn, 70, a lifelong resident of McMinn passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born on October 25, 1948 in Athens, TN a daughter of the late Walter & Trula Daugherty. She was an employee of Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Jerry McMinn, one sister Clota Mason and one brother Dennis Daugherty.
Gloria leaves behind to cherish her memory his son and his fiancé Bruce McMinn and Sarah Sprague, one sister Pat Williams (Paul), one grandson Anthony Sprague, her Fur Babies – “Henry Ford” and “Baby Hannah”, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends and coworkers.
A memorial gathering is planned for Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN.
