Gladys Lorine Arbore

Gladys Arbore went to be with the Lord at 91 years old on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. She was born in Ohio and lived in several states, including Florida, where she met her husband of 70 years. She graduated Bradley Central High School and lived the last 45 years of her life in Bradley County. She worked at Westmoreland Plastics in Pennsylvania for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening and working jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and was a Sunday School and AWANAs teacher to children for many years. She loved the precious ladies of her Sunday School Class, The Joy Givers.

She was preceded in death by parents, Elijah (E.B.) and Retta Kelley of Cleveland; daughter, Judy Arbore of Cleveland; brothers, Lester and Virgil Kelley; sister, Lula Kelley all of Cleveland.

She is survived by husband, Howard Arbore; daughter, Teresa (Earl) Cartwright of Cleveland; step-granddaughter, Dr. Stephanie (Tony) Manginelli of Johnson City; brother James (Edna) Kelley of Cleveland, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private burial in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
