Geraldine "Deanie" Thomas

Geraldine “Deanie” Thomas, 70, of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 28, 2017. She was born on November 8, 1947 to the late Sport and Lillie Rymer. Deanie was a lifelong resident of this area and she attended The Church at Grace Point. Deanie loved crafts, jewelry, and painting. She also loved to travel. Above all things, Deanie will be remembered for how kindhearted and generous she was.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her nephew Zane Shahan and sister Janice Lopez.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 46 years, Gale Thomas; two sons Shawn Thomas and Rob Thomas and sister Lois Shahan.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday January 31, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home at 5:00pm with Pastor Phil Griffin officiating.
Interment will take place at 2:00pm on Tuesday January 2, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
