Geraldine "Deanie" Ratcliff Truelove

Geraldine “Deanie” Ratcliff, Truelove, 67, of Cleveland, received her wings and went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2020. Deanie was a devoted wife and loving mother. She became Nana and Grandnana as the family grew. To know her was to love her and though she was small in stature, her love, faith, and passion for life was huge. She loved her family as Christ loved her: unconditionally, without judgement and with her whole being. Holidays and family get togethers were her favorite. She was a devout Christian, member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church and loved her church family. She spent many years playing softball and league bowling. She loved the competition and comradery. Deanie was the staple of the family and although our hearts will never heal from her loss, we send her off to heaven with much love and many thanks for the time we’ve been allowed to share with you here on Earth. This is not goodbye, its til next time. We love you so much.

Deanie is survived by her husband of 48 years, William “Eddie” Truelove, two sons Brian Truelove, Mark Truelove, and daughter Penny Truelove. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ulice Ratcliff and Della Hipps Ratcliff; brothers Donald Ratcliff, Billy Ratcliff, and Richard Ratcliff, sisters Linda Sue Ratcliff, Wilma Gurley, Wanda Beavers, and Patricia Hampton. She has one surviving sister Dorothy Webb (who is our angel on Earth).

The family will hold a private service that can be viewed live streamed on our Facebook page or website on Monday April 13, 2020 at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
