George Lamar Dent

George Lamar Dent entered into eternal rest on March 20th, 2023.

He was born July 5th, 1945 and was a lifelong resident of Hixson, TN.

George worked most of his adult life as an auto mechanic and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents Erman and Clara Dent, sister Alma Jo and brothers Larry and Alvin Dent.

He is survived by his wife of over 57 years Margaret (Hester) Dent, son Jeff (Bonita) Dent of Rossville, GA.,

daughter Kimberly (Micah) Huling of Clarksville, TN., six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with two more on the way,

and three sisters and one brother. 

The family will have a private memorial service followed by a future celebration of life at a later time.
