Gail Virginia Cook

Gail Virginia Cook, 84, of Apison, TN passed away on March 24, 2022. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on January 5, 1938 to the late Jack and Dorothy DeVito. Gail was a tremendous cook who loved sharing meals with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, working crossword puzzles, and enjoyed Wheel of Fortune. She really loved entertaining friends and spending time with her family. Gail was also a longtime member of McDonald Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Earl Cook; two children: Jennifer Cook and Brandon Cook; very special niece Tammy Souza; sister Jeanne Alexandra Scott. In addition to these, she leaves behind grand nieces and numerous extended family members and friends.
Gail’s family will have a graveside service at 2:00pm on Sunday March 27, 2022 at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, TN.
