Fred D. Jenkins Jr.

Fred D Jenkins Jr., age 69, went home to be with Jesus on November 22, 2022. Fred was a wonderful, gifted teacher and a devoted student of God’s word. He was a dedicated servant to the Lord. Fred graduated from Carter High School. He retired from Briggs plumbing ware. Fred was a member of Ball Road Baptist Church. We are beyond saddened that he is gone from us, but we are thrilled that he is 100% healed and sitting at the master’s feet.

Fred was the son of Fred D. Jenkins Sr. and Nettie Hope Jenkins who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Myers; and brother, William Jenkins.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 17 years, Jamie; niece, Sharon (Eulis Lambert) Drinnen; nephew, William Drinnen; great niece, Shannon (Jay Delk) Delk; grandnephew, Shawn (Lyndsey Delk) Delk; great grandnephew Evander Delk; And Great nephew Zachary (Gabby Peach) Delk.

There will be a celebration of life at Ball Road Baptist Church with the date to be announced.
