Frances E. Killian

Frances Elizabeth Killian, 73, resident of Old Fort, TN, passed away January 22, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born September 10, 1948, to the late Rev. Amos and Lillian Young in Cleveland, TN. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church and loved the Lord and her family. Proverbs 31:28-Her children arise up, and call her blessed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Eddie and Bob Young; sister Ann Harrold.

Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James Killian; daughters, Pam (Tim) Sluder, of Crandall, GA and Tammy (Patrick) Strickland, of Old Fort, TN; siblings, Judy Faye Chastain, Loretta Couch, Jean Rogers, and Tommy Young, all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, even at 23 & 21, they were still her babies, Brady (Nikki) Sluder, of Chatsworth and Bryson Sluder, of Crandall, GA; great-granddaughter Ellis, due in May; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Conasauga River Baptist Church, followed by the service at 2:00 PM with Jackie Martin officiating. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Conasauga River Baptist Church Cemetery, Old Fort , TN
