Floyd K. Earwood

Floyd Earwood a dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went to be with Jesus on August 10th 2017 at his residence in Cleveland Tn. By his side was his dedicated wife of 57 years, Brenda Joyce Earwood, along with his children Angie Sims and her husband Dennis Sims, Gina Gilbert and her husband Scott Gilbert, Layne Myers and her husband Mike Myers, He had five grandchildren, Mitchell and Dustin Sims, Zachary and Creed Hicks and Emma Grace Myers. He also had seven great grandchildren, Sydney, Kynslei, Kyra, Lance, Lyla, Duke and baby D Sims. He was preceded in death by his father, William Earwood and mother Josephine Earwood, two brothers Dallas and Claude (Buddy) Earwood and one sister Sally Earwood. He left behind four sisters and two brothers, Katie Bain of Athens Tn, Cora Townsend, Esther Dispain, Nellie Climer, Hershel and Jimmy Earwood all of Cleveland TN. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Bradley Tank & Pipe.He will always be in our heart and his legacy of love will live forever. A memorial service will be held at New Salem Baptist Church @ 7 pm with Reverend A.C. Cooper officiating. Everyone is welcome to attend this celebration of his life.
