Flora Ann Dickey

Flora Ann Faulkner-Dickey, age 92, passed away on March 8, 2018. She lived her final years and moments with her daughter Sandy, her husband Steve, their son Joey, and their two little dogs, Cocoa and Gizmo, in their home in Cleveland, TN.
On June 8, 1925, Flora Ann was born in Colorado Springs, CO, where she lived most of her life. She married Edgar R. Faulkner on September 15, 1946; they had three daughters, Sandy, Jan and Lynn.
Flora Ann enjoyed: swimming, photography, drawing, painting, reading and dancing at her high school reunions. She and husband, Ed, are remembered for leading a group of horseback riders, The Aspen Poppers, on a Labor Day trail ride from Green Mtn. Falls, over Pike’s Peak and into Cripple Creek.
She is survived by her two younger brothers, three daughters, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to: Hearth Hospice, At Home Primary Care and Guardian Home Health Services for their personalized and tender care of Flora Ann. We’d also like to thank the private care givers who helped us and to our neighbors: Peggy Wishon and Anne Bryant who offered companionship and care for the past seven years.
A memorial service will be held at Living Word Church in Cleveland, TN, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 o’clock pm.
A private graveside service will be held this summer at the mountain cemetery in Four Mile, Colorado.
