Farrell Lee Tate

Farrell Lee Tate, 67, of Cleveland, TN, passed away, November 13, 2022. Born February 23, 1955, in Murphy, NC, to the late Marvin Lee Tate & Helen Ruth Tate and of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, spending time with his family, an avid Braves Fan. Farrell worked for Whirlpool for Thirty years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Selena Tate.

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Connie Tate; sons, Shane Tate and Daniel Tate; daughter, Amanda (Bill) Beck; siblings, Marty (Carolyn) Tate, Lamar (Emily) Tate, Teresa Watson; sister-in-law, Ivey Geren; brother-in-law, Ricky Lawson; grandchildren, Parker Beck, Madison Tate, Taylor Beck; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Bobby Shutt, officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with pallbearers, Bodie Shelton, Andy Shelton, Garrett Koon, Parker Beck, Josh Tate, Travis Tate, and Seth Landis.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
