Eulas Scoggins

August 28, 1948 — January 22, 2023

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Eulas Scoggins went home to Heaven to see Jesus. He is proceeded in death by his Parents, Clyde and Mary Scoggins, Brother, R.L. Scoggins, and 2 Infant Siblings. Eulas is survived by his Wife, Linda Scoggins of Cleveland, Daughter, Amy Carroll (Charles) of Cleveland, Grandson, David Carroll of Cleveland, and Sister, Carolyn (Mac) of Cleveland.

Eulas was loved dearly by his Wife, Daughter, Son-In Law, Grandson, and Sister. He was always there for them all. He served his baby sister well, and he tried to be there as a servant for her needs for many years. He grew up and has lived in the Cleveland area all his life. He served many churches as Pastor and Interim Pastor. He supplied in many pulpits, as a friend, when needed, in Bradley, Meigs, McMinn, and Hamilton Counties in Tennessee. He answered God’s call to preach at the age of 23. He loved to preach and teach God’s Word, and Vacation Bible Schools were very important to him. He gave his life to the Lord at one of these at a young age. He was a friend to many along life’s way. He was a friend and co-worker to many at Magic Chef, Maytag, and Whirlpool for over 50 years. His Grandson David, Daughter Amy, and Son-In-Law Charles, were the light of his life. He was devoted to his loving Wife of 51 years. She was devoted to him, always by his side in the ministry, supporting him in his walk with God to be an example to follow. In everyday life, he tried to be a Godly man. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. Eulas had typical aging symptoms, diabetes, and heart issues. With these declining health issues, he peacefully and unexpectedly took his trip to his Heavenly home to see Jesus on Sunday Morning. The family will hold a private service. Son-in-law Rev. Charles Carroll will be ministering to the family.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Eulas or your condolences with his family at his online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com.
