Emerson Loyd "Popsicle" Robinson

Emerson Loyd “Popsicle” Robinson, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born November 23, 1946, to the late Earl and Gracie Robinson. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Shady Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed being in the outdoors: hunting and fishing. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Austin; and brothers, Gus, John Walter and Hoyle.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Jeff Robinson and Andrew Dickens; daughter, Malissa Davis; siblings, Larry (Brenda), Wanda (Eddie) Spencer and Deborah (Dewey) Miller; grandchildren, Dylan Dickens, Huck Davis and Necie (James) Shultz; and great-grandchildren Landon and Gage Shultz.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Shady Springs Baptist Church in Old Fort, TN, on Friday, November 15, 2019 with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM with Reverend Larry Robinson and Pastor Charles Moore officiating.
