Elvie Crumbley

Elvie Crumbley, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born in Copperhill, GA. Elvie was a resident of Cleveland for over 70 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Elvie was a selfless person who always put others before herself. She lived a life full of service to her family and her Lord. She loved to spend her time in her yard, but she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, most of all. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elvie retired from Duracell and was a faithful member of Mountain View Church of God.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lewis & Georgia Ensley; husband, Robert Crumbley; siblings, Albert Ensley, Arvin Ensley, Edgar Ensley, Marie Ensley, Aretta Sipe, Ruby Sipe, and Ruth Goins.
Survived by her son, Robert “Bobby” (Debby) Crumbley; daughter, Rebecca Crumbley; sister, Susie McCormick; grandchildren, Kim (Billy) Bynum, Kristi (Anthony) Sims, Dustin Crumbley; great-grandchildren, Chesney, Conner Bynum, and Brooklynn Sims.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2021 at Companion Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
