Elizabeth Jean Templeton

Elizabeth Jean Templeton passed away from this earth into the arms of Jesus on February 18, 2023, surrounded by her family. In her final days, even though her memory was fading, her personality shone through and she never forgot about her precious Lord. She stayed faithful to him, and called on his name until her last breath here on earth.

Jean was a member of Hillcrest Church of God where she served faithfully. Not only did she serve others at her church, but she also served her community. She truly had a “servant’s heart.”

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Lee Templeton; son, Robert Ramirez; son-in-law, Jesus “Jessie” Gesolgon; aunt, Alma Powell.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Ramirez; sister, Lequita (Sam) Stansberry; Joe Ramirez; grandson, Brant (Sasha) Ramirez; granddaughter, Heather Gesolgon; granddaughter, Alyssa Gesolgon; great-granddaughter, Leia Rose Deason; several precious nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service for Jean and her son Robert will take place at Hillcrest Church of God on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 6 PM. Located at 581 Hillcrest Circle - Etowah, TN 37331
