Elizabeth Burnette Millsaps

Elizabeth Burnette Millsaps, 92, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, October 30th, at Garden Plaza of Cleveland. Elizabeth was born on October 11th, 1930, in Knoxville, TN the daughter of the late Samuel Claiborn Burnette and Janette Sheckels Burnette. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Fred Allen Millsaps.

Elizabeth leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Suzanne Millsaps Gregory and son-in-law Thomas Martin (Marty) Gregory (Cleveland, TN), her grandson and great-grandson Samuel McKinley Gregory and Walter McKinley (Mackey) Gregory (Knoxville, TN), and granddaughter Caroline Elizabeth Gregory (Seattle, WA). Elizabeth leaves a legacy of love behind.

On Friday, November 4th, 2022, a graveside service will take place in the Chapel of the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located at 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. The service will begin at 8:30 AM. All family and friends are invited to attend.

In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the 501c3 non-profit organization www.willowbendfarms.org.
