Edna Shirlene Hesson Rhea

Edna Shirlene Hesson Rhea, 52, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on May 6, 2017.
She was steadfast in her Christian faith, with an insatiable desire to know more of God and His Word. Her caring nature and great sense of humor were always comforting and a great source of excellent advice. Always aware of the events of the day, she cared deeply about the condition of our nation. She spent time as a volunteer for the Georgia Right to Life. Always curious, her quest for knowledge was incessant, including music, movies, traveling, and Bible study.
She loved her family without end, and took great joy in bringing healing and solace during sickness and pain.
She was born on May 10, 1964, to Bob and Shirley Hesson in Chattanooga, TN.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bob and Shirley Hesson; brothers, David Hesson, Tommy Hesson, and Johnny Cox; sister, Ruth Marmon.
She leaves behind her husband, Paul; children: Kirstin Rhea and her husband, Bobby Hewett; Patrick Rhea, Dalton Rhea, Brock Rhea, and Cecily Rhea; brothers: Bill Cox and Bobby Hesson; sisters: Vicci Cox and Jo Alred.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, May 10 at Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Homer Rhea officiating. She will be interred at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers include Bill Cox, Bobby Hesson, Scott Ellis, Roman Ellis, Chris Ellis, Ron Ivy, and Wes Ivy.
