Easter Virginia Holder

Easter Virginia Holder, 83, of Old Fort, TN passed away on January 4, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 15, 1933 to the late Sam and Winnie Mantooth. Easter was a lifelong resident of Old Fort. She was of the Baptist Faith and member of Boanerges Baptist Church. Easter loved traveling, but her pride and joy was being Granny and Momma to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Billy Holder; son Vance Ray Holder; five brothers: Troy, Jerry, Riley, Clyde, and Roy; three sisters: Carzella, Brenda, and Linda Fay.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Billy Wayne “Moe” Holder; daughter Sandra Swallows (Grover Hardin); brother Claude Mantooth (Connie); sisters Gayla White and Reathel Mantooth; grandchildren: Terra Caughron (Josh), Linda Holder Hayes (Jon), and Anthony McDowell; great grandchildren: Xander Caughron, Cooper Caughron, Tucker Caughron, and Allyson Stella Hayes. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday January 7, 2017 at Boanerges Baptist Church located at 234 Boanerges Church Rd
Old Fort, TN 37362 with Rev. David Disney officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Boanerges Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church on Friday January 6, 2017.
