Earl Mooneyham

Earl Mooneyham, 90, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday evening, April 17th, 2016 at his home. Earl was born on March 30th, 1926 a son of the late Eskie & Kate Perry Mooneyham. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Georgetown Baptist Church. Earl was retired from the Maytag Corporation where he was an over the road truck driver for thirty plus years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and working his yard.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one brother Lynn Mooneyham, and four sisters Doris Colloms, Margret Horton, Wilma Mooneyham and Benna Waterfield.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of thirty seven years Beth Collins Mooneyham, one daughter Glenda Mooneyham-Chaney and her husband Mark of Fort Mill, SC, one son Mike Mooneyham and his wife Glenda of Birchwood, TN, two grandsons Derrick Wiman and Tanner Chaney one step daughter Connie Nevis (Phil) of Etowah, TN, two step grandsons Jody Wooten of Cleveland, TN and Jerry Buckner of Benton, TN, two step great granddaughters Ariana Wooten and Adara Buckner, special nieces Faye Holmes and Lois Smith, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A graveside celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday morning, April 20th, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Earl Farris officiating. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Wednesday morning.
The family will receive friends at Georgetown Baptist Church on Highway 60 in Georgetown on Tuesday evening, April 19th, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
