Doyle Gibson

Doyle O. Gibson, 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Doyle was born November 26, 1938 to the late Oscar and Martha Gibson. He was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. Doyle enjoyed his horses, his cattle and farming his land. But he loved “Trading” he would trade vehicles, guns, real estate, anything he felt like he could make a dollar off of.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Gibson and his daughter Debbie Gibson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Alan Gibson (Judy), daughters, Kim White (Gary), Pam Burnette (Nicky), grandchildren, Brooke Shuler (Gary “Groovy”), Brently White (Sloane), Nicolas Burnette, Riley White and Noah Burnette, great granddaughter, Allie Gibson, sister, Shirley Graham and brother, Wayne Gibson (Charlotte).
The family will have visitation on Friday, April 16, 2021 in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Dr. Cleveland, TN 37311 from 5:00-8:00. The funeral service will be held the next morning at 11:00 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Exline to officiate. The burial will immediately follow at Johnston Cemetery in Georgetown, TN. with Andy Andrews, Jeremy Andrews, Kevin Williams, David Allen, Heath Allen and Jared Allen serving as pallbearers.
