Dorthy May Oliver

Dorthy May Oliver, 72, of Ooltewah, TN, went to be with the Lord, September 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Dorthy was born September 9, 1946 to the proud parents of William & Pearl Coffman.
She enjoyed her loving family, sewing, word search puzzles and “Day’s of Our Lives”.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Coffman; daughter, Debra Kay Oliver; grandsons, David Adam Oliver and Eric Nathan Oliver; and several siblings.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, James Oliver of Ooltewah,TN; son, David (Darla) Oliver of Harrison, TN; daughters, Connie (Tommy) Moreland of Chattanoga, TN, Patricia (Brad) Huey of McDonald, TN and Hope (Travis) Headrick of McDonald,TN; 8 grandchildren, Steve (Jennie) Moreland, Jill (Ben) Ford, Heather (Aaron) Morrison, Tony (Holly) Moreland, Holly ( Brian) Hammill, Sgt. Christopher (Emily) Headrick USMC, Kristina Oliver, Tyler Headrick; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother, Bob Coffman of Ooltewah, TN.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Standifer Gap Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 8310 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 2-3 p.m. A Celebration of life will begin at 3:00 p.m.
