Dorothy Sue Cagle

Dorothy Sue Cagle, 81, of Athens, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at her home. Dorothy was born on April 21, 1941, in Athens, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Lula Lingerfelt. She enjoyed camping, Sewing, and going to church on Sundays. Dorothy was a dedicated member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers in law, Jimmy McNabb, and Carl “Junior” Mitchell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Lester Cagle; her children, David (Bonnie) Cagle, Janice (Dewayne) Wilson; sister, Gladys Carroll Mitchel; her stepsister, Charlotte (Jerry) Collims; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
