Dorothy J. Tuten

Dorothy J. Tuten, 88, resident of Cleveland, TN passed away at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland on Thursday, June 11, 2020 after a brief illness. Dorothy lived in Cleveland for three years but spent most of her life in Alamo, Ga. She loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles as well as being involved in her church. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Tuten; brother J.D. Corbitt; sister Maxine Wilson; brother-in-law Prichard Wilson and daughter-in-law Dana Tuten.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons Ed Tuten, David Tuten (Teresa) and Barry Tuten (Rhodora); sister-in-law Lucy Corbitt; grandchildren Emily, Leah, Sara, Noah and Katie Tuten. She also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a memorial service on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Towns Funeral Home in Alamo, GA. Rev. Kyle Woodfin to officiate. Trumpet music by Noah Tuten.
