Dorothy “Dot” Elizabeth Haynes November 4, 1927 – November 18, 2015 Dorothy Elizabeth Haynes, 88, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Saltville, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Life Care Centers of America. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Haynes, Jr.; parents, James and Blanche Call; great grandson, Michael Austin Cunningham; two sisters, Acquilia "Kit" Call Eldreth and Anna Lee Call Wright; three brothers, James Henry Call, Jr., Curtis Hufford Call, and Robert Paul Call; son-in-law, Eddie Debord, Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Janice B. Haynes. She is survived by children Janice Debord of Saltville, VA; Phillip Haynes, Sharla Smith and husband John, all of Cleveland; Clifford Haynes and wife Tosha of Dalton, GA; and Stanley Haynes and wife Angie of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren: Sharla Cannon, Eddie Debord, Jr., Michael Cunningham, Melissa Cunningham, Natalie Williams, Amber Holt, Chad Haynes, Josh Haynes and Bethanie Haynes; great-grandchildren: Dustin Cannon, Jacob Cannon, Trevor Debord, Todd Debord, Millie DeBord, Cameron Cunningham, Gracie Holt and Hayneslie Holt; great-great granddaughter: Leigha DeBord; sister, Millie Call Mansfield of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Albert Roy Call of Newport News, VA and Arthur Boyd “Whitie” Call of Yorktown,VA; and several nieces and nephews. Granny Dot loved her family, the Duke Blue Devils and the Tennessee Lady Vols. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home, 2417 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Marvin Howard officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
