Doris Mae Boring

July 12, 1943 — November 15, 2021

Heavens gates are open wide and the angels are rejoicing as Doris Mae Adams Boring joined the saints on November 15, 2021.

Doris Boring was a loving wife, a Christian mother of five children, a grandmother, great-grandmother, and a true friend to many.

She was an active member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and played the organ for many years there, as well as organist at other area churches throughout the years. Doris worked as a LPN while raising her family.

Doris had a passion for the mission fields of Nicaragua and Haiti for many years. Numerous people have been blessed for the loving dedication and devout support of the Borings. They poured their blessings on two struggling young ladies in Nicaragua and changed their lives forever. Wendy Baltodano is currently seeking her law degree, while Xochilt has already achieved her degree as a lawyer. They sent condolences from their homeland:

“They are my parents that GOD sent me. I love them from the bottom of my heart!”

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Adams.

Mourning survivors include:
Calvin Boring, a loving husband of 58 plus years; a sister, Judy Kowarsch from Texas; Five children: Charles (Connie) Boring; Cheryl White; Carol (Kenneth) Peace; Carla Whiting; Candice (Barry) Boring; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-loves, and brothers-in-love.

Glory be to GOD for blessing us all with the love of Doris Boring for 78 years. We are looking forward to our reunion in Heaven!
