Donald Roger Farris

Donald Roger Farris, 74, a resident of Madisonville, TN and formally of Etowah passed away on Friday evening, December 2, 2022 in an Athens healthcare facility. He was born in Athens on June 29, 1948 a son of the late Henry & Ora Farris. Don enjoyed fishing, watching tv, listening to country and gospel music, attending church, but most of all spending time with his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years Marietta “Mary” Carroll Farris, three sisters Brenda Hickman, Tiny Bowers and Barbara Morrow (Andy), numerous other extended family members and host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Thursday December 8, 2022 at 2:30 PM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with Reverend Roger Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM prior to leaving for the graveside service.
