Donald Maurice Jackson

Donald M. Jackson, 76, of Cleveland TN, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the
Family residence. He was born in Chattanooga Tn., and was the son of the late John and
Katherine (Bowman) Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his sister Jodie Lampella,
and his brother Charles Jackson. Donald was a longtime Cleveland resident, a member of
Clingan Ridge Baptist Church, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed college
sports of all kinds, but he especially loved his Tennessee Vols. Survivors include his loving
wife of many years Barbara, daughter Kristy Jackson Roberts (Chris), two grandchildren,
sister Melinda Keels, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by five (step) children,
Tera Woods, Jeff(Karen) and Tim(Debbie) Carter, Jennifer Earls, and Scott Cavanaugh. Twelve
(step) grandchildren, Amy, Cindi, Adam, Casey, Kristie, Heather, Drake, Brent, Stephen,
Hunter, Robert, and Ethan. He also has eight (step) great grandchildren. The family will receive
Friends at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church from 5-6 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2020 with a service to follow at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
