Donald D. Johnson

Donald D. Johnson, 72, passed away December 21, 2015. He was born February 22, 1923 in Paynesville, MN to the late Lee and Lillie Johnson. He was an accountant in hospitals by trade and got a bachelor’s degree from Pacific Union College in accounting in Angwin, CA. Donald started his career working for Adventist Health Systems West as a Patients Business Manager, then became CFO for four hospitals and CEO of a Medical Group. He enjoyed golfing, telling stories mostly of his childhood on the farm and enjoyed tall ships. Donald was a great husband, father and grandfather. Donald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Johnson; two daughters, Maelyn McMillan and Sharolyn Johnson-Bromell; son, Donald Scott Johnson; eight grandchildren, Macilyn McMillan, Matthew McMillan, Dakatoh Bromell, Dillon Bromell, Victoria Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Olivia Johnson. A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Ladd Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 11:00am.
