Diana Sue Carpenter

Diana Sue Carpenter, 74, of Cherokee County, North Carolina, passed away February 10, 2023. She was born October 19, 1948, to the late Herbert Ballew and Dorothy Ballew. Diana was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Carpenter; sister, Delta Lue Totherow.

Survived by her son, Mark Carpenter; brother, Dan Ballew; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, at Companion Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Visitation will also be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Temple Baptist Church, Murphy, NC. The funeral will begin at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Temple Baptist Church Cemetery.
