Dewey Carson Jr.

Dewey Carson Jr, 93, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, TN, passed away on Tuesday November 28, 2017. Dewey proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII. He received two Bronze Stars for his service in the China Burma India Campaign and was a proud member of the Caterpillar Club for being shot down behind enemy lines and walking out. Dewey was owner and operator of Carson Cleaners in downtown Cleveland for many years. Dewey will be remembered as a loving father and friend to all that knew him and he will be dearly missed.
Dewey is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nellie Carson; parents, Dewey and Veta Carson; granddaughter, LeeAnn Lytle; and brother, Chaney Carson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving children, Dewey Carson III (Linda), Susan Lytle, and Johnny Carson; grandchildren, Mindy Carson, Rick Carson, Tommy Lytle, Lisa Lee (Wayne), Jason Carson, and Adam Carson; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of life graveside service is planned for 2:00pm on Friday December 1, 2017 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Jack Green officiating.
