Destany Rosemarie Vires

Destany Rosemarie Vires, 13, a resident of Benton, Tennessee, went to be with Jesus on Saturday August 26, 2017. Destany was an 8th grade student at Chilhowee Middle School, where she was on the A/B Honor Roll. She loved the TV Show Steven Universe. Destany was very active in the youth group at Delano Baptist Church and loved her church family, always greeting everyone with hugs. She left a lasting impression on everyone who came into contact with her and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her dad, Edward Lee Vires Jr.; maternal grandmother, Barbara Bledsoe; and maternal grandfather, Charles Bledsoe Jr.
Destany leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving parents, Rubyanne and Jacob Miller; sisters, Desiree Vires and Hope Miller; grandparents, Richard and Jane Lane Miller, Jan Miller, and Jenny Miller Busch; uncle and aunt, Matt & Nikki Bledsoe; special cousin, Skylar Bledsoe; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of life funeral service will be at 4:00pm on Saturday September 2, 2017 at the River Worship Center, located at 180 Wetmore Circle Delano, TN, 37325, with Pastor Patrick McCulley officiating.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior, from 2:00pm until the 4:00pm service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity in Destiny’s memory.
