Dennis K. Davis

Dennis K. Davis, 69, passed away at a local healthcare facility on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, TN to the late Ola Lee and Hubert Davis on July 26, 1952.
A lifelong resident of the Prospect area, he loved managing the laundry mat and talking with those that came in. He loved fishing, eating, and buying and selling mowers. But above all he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and especially his great grandkids. He will be dearly missed in the Prospect community.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Harold Davis; sister, Gladys Belk, and grandson, Jacob McLain.
Those left behind to cherish his memory includes his daughter, Michelle (Jason) McLain; son, Jeremy Davis; grandkids: Hunter (Ashley) McLain, Zack (Kaitlin) Davis, Jeremiah Davis and Layla Davis; great grandkids: Whitley and Kolton Davis and John McLain; sister, Virginia Ballinger; several nieces and nephews, and his dog, Daisy.
Dennis will have a private burial at Mount Olive Cemetery with the Rev. Hunter McLain officiating. Johnny Belk, Steve Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Zack Davis, Jason McLain and Hunter McLain will serve as pallbearers.
