Delois Fay Butler

Delois Fay Butler, 64, of Cleveland, TN closed her eyes and opened them in the presence of her Savior on March 5, 2016. She was born on September 2, 1951 to the late Rev. James Byers and Velma Smallin Byers. Fay enjoyed fishing with Harold, joking and cutting up, and being on Facebook. Above all things, however, she adored her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her brother Terry Byers; son in law Gary Richardson Sr.; and brother in law J.R. Young.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 20 years Harold Butler; son Scotty Perian; daughters Tina Richardson and Angela Bain; brothers Donny Byers, Charles Byers, and Billy Byers; sisters Linda Young and Brenda Moats; grandchildren: Haley Perian, Kayla Garren, Jonathan Garren, Whitney Perian, Anita Richardson, Dylon Weathers, Damon Weathers, Hunter Bain, Jordan Weathers, and Cody Weathers.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at Covenant Baptist Church located at 249 Calhoun Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday March 7, 2016 and from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the church. Interment will follow the service on Wednesday at Beaty’s Chapel Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN.
