Deirdre Rae Wellsted

Deirdre Rae Wellsted, 62, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on February 21, 2022. Deirdre was born September 1, 1959, in Lakeland, FL. She has resided in Chattanooga for the last 34 years. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard Wellsted and her father, Charles Sing.

Deirdre is survived by her mother Julia Nesmith (Larry); sons, Steven Tomlin (Rebecca), Kevin Wellsted (Jessica), Dave Wellsted, Dan Wellsted, Doug Wellsted (Jennie); daughters, Toni Wellsted Bishop (James); Tami Hickman (Christopher); Sister Rhonda Wright (Bobby), Kelly Gentry (Kevin), sixteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Riverpark Shelter #3 off Amnicola Highway. Interment will follow on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
