Debra Lynn Parlett

April 23, 1960 — May 13, 2023

Debra Lynn Parlett, 63, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on May 13th, 2023. She was born on April 23, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio.

Debra is survived by her loving daughter and son, Samantha Clem and Matthew Parlett, her beautiful grandchildren Abby, Braiden, Jaxson, Journey, and her son-in-law, Landon.

Debra enjoyed many things in life, especially the company of her family. She would spend her days coloring, painting her nails, doing her hair, and telling stories about her children and grandchildren. Her personality defied her age, and if you saw her you would have thought she was in her twenties living life to the fullest. She faced adversity and hardship with a steel resolve that inspired those around her to do the same. The smile she would have when seeing her children Samantha, Matthew, and her grandchildren could melt ice and erase the clouds just like the sun on a hot summers' day. She was able to make friendships with anyone anywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family - but the memories of her will span generations, allowing her to make people laugh even though she has left this world.

Debra knew how precious life was, and she would want you to know the same. We are so very thankful to have had her for the all-too-short time that we did. We love you so much, Debra.
